In early 2009, we headed out to Delhi to shoot a music festival that had an underlying theme. To unite the countries of South Asia through the spirit of Music. The South Asian Bands Festival was set against the scenic backdrop of Purana Qila in Delhi and brought together artists from countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, The Maldives and India. It proved to be one of the best festivals we have had the pleasure to document till date.

With a line up that included some of the best bands from across countries of South Asia, the crowds were truly in for a treat. With great weather, a great venue, and good music, we couldn’t really ask for much more!
